This is a wonderful herb for stimulating circulation and leaving skin absolutely glowing without marks!

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of fresh basil or 1 teaspoon of dried basil 1 cup boiling water 1. Brew the basil in the water until cool. 2. Pour into spritzer bottle and lightly spray over face and body after bath or at night. 3. Allow to air dry!

This is a light, talc-free powder that feels wonderfully natural. Although this recipe traditionally uses almond extract, lemon or orange extract is just as good.

Ingredients: 2 teaspoons cornstarch 3 tablespoons rice flour 5 to 6 drops pure almond extract/lemon/orange extract

Steps: 1. Combine the cornstarch and flour. 2. Gradually add the almond extract. 3.Apply to body with a powder puff or large brush.

Ingredients

Baby potatoes

MUSTARD SAUCE

250ml fat free smooth cottage cheese 60ml Dijon mustard 30ml wholegrain mustard 1 garlic clove, crushed Salt and pepper

Method

Cook the potatoes in boiling water till just tender. Do not over cook them or they will become too soft. Cool to room temperature. Using a paring knife, cut the bottom section of each potato so that it will sit upright when served. Cut a little hole at the top of each potato. mix all the sauce ingredients together. Easy, tasty and pretty. The ideal fuss free, economical starter. Avocado is also incredibly healthy and a good source of unsaturated fats.

Ingredients: 3 ripe avocado pears 5ml Ina Paarman’s Green Onion or Lemon & Black Pepper Seasoning 60-90ml Low fat salad herb dressing 1pkt fresh watercress or lettuce 1fresh lemon Empty tuna tin for mould

Serves  4-6

Method: 1.  Pip, peel and cube the avocados in 1cm x 1cm blocks. Season and toss with the dressing. 2.  Shape into an individual ring, 5cm x 4cm deep (see Tip). 3.  Transfer to 6 side plates, unmoulding as you go. 4.  Add a generous helping of watercress and fine half moon slices of lemon.
